As of September 15, 2002, operators of powered vessels under 4 meters in length, including personal water craft, are required to show proof of competency.You are required by law to have the minimum safety equipment recommended for your boat on board. This includes in your tender.The Police and Coast Guard ARE checking currently. What is the proof of competency ??
